After this commit, if I am missing a .bst file, the error dialog no longer pops up. To reproduce, move the required bst file to a backup directory outside of kpsewhich's search path. (In my experience, no need to rerun mktexlsr or anything else) Then, compile. I see in the status line "Error while exporting format: PDF (pdflatex)", but no error dialog pops up. Before this commit, the error dialog would pop up. I found this issue when trying to compile the Springer Nature example file. I happend to have the sn-jnl.cls file but I did not have the sn-basic.bst in the correct location, so it was not found. Scott
