Your fix works well, thank you! It works on my original use case as well. Now User Guide fails to compile. I imagine your fix now correctly flags warnings that were already there, which is a nice improvement. I get: LaTeX Warning: Reference `subsec:Paper-Size' on page 173 undefined on input line 8768. and LaTeX Warning: Reference `-Orientation' on page 173 undefined on input line 8768. And the Japanese User Guide gives: LaTeX Warning: Reference `subsec:=0066F8=008A8C=0060C5=005831=0030EC=0030A4=0030A2=0030A6=0030C8' on page 130 undefined on input line 3477 Scott
