What I have decided to call "gamma 1" (not quite a beta) has been
packaged and can be found here:
http://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.5/
Those of you who are in the binary-building business are invited to
build said binaries.
I believe Eugene is still out of town, so it may be a bit before we have
Windows binaries. But this kind of release can be done in stages.
Hopefully, we can get some initial feedback on this version and then
think about an actual beta.
FYI, LyX 2.4.4 is scheduled for early June.
