The problem with the AMS file is that lyx2lyx (2.4) inserts local layout code using the old theorem definition via preamble, and this causes the conflict. I think we need a file format change here and modify the local layout code accordingly. Will have a look. It would be easy to manually fix the file, but I propose to keep the error as a reminder for the fix. The MM problem is different, I have to check what theorem mechanism this class actually uses. It doesn't seem to be amsthm, as I assumed. -- Jürgen
