yes:
checking for grep that handles long lines and -e... /usr/bin/grep
I get nothing like the above, but
checking for egrep... /usr/bin/grep -E
checking for egrep -e... /usr/bin/grep -E
I guess that the support macros for iconv configuration have changed and
thus the EGREP variable is not defined any more. We have to think of a
stable replacement.
