I think this should go to 2.4.x too ;) It took me time to see the issue.
I was not aware myself that it was so sensitive to ordering.
OK for 2.4.x.
Well, I knew that the const at the start was not the same a const at the
end, but I had no idea that a & could be put there.
Backported now.
