Only on certain files (I have chess fonts that ps2pdf seems to do a bad
job with). dvipdfm seems to handle it just fine.
I am happy with ps2pdf overall (\usepackage{pslatex} and the use
of hyperref make it pretty nice).
Where ps2pdf fails to produce a small file, I want to try this program.
