Oops!  Matej Cepl says in lyx-users that the first patch makes
the program segfault.  :-(

I'm sorry, but I don't know enough about LyX coding to help him
(it works for me on two other machines and it works for Sasa
Janiska too).

Could some developer, please, take a look and tell us what to do?

I still think that the new behavior matches the description of the
