Qt can choose the platform at runtime, and gnome already sets the platform to be "gnome" if present (alternatives are "wayland" for the default barebone decoration, or xcb to run on X11), so that when QGnomePlatform provides the appropriate file, the windows get the decorations automatically on gnome.
