I has a closer look now. Adding support requires some major effort. For
instance, we need to add a proper NOTES cite engine type, and we need
to account for the fact that biblatex-chicago loads its styles
differently than biblatex.

I can have a go at that, but I doubt I will find time before LyX 2.4.
