Basically, you use LyX 2.3.4 on Ubuntu 20.04 and you experience
typesetting problem when the folder containing the file has an umlaut in
its name.
This looks a lot like bug #11146, which only got fixed in LyX 2.3.5.

My advice is to use the lyx ppa described here:
https://launchpad.net/~lyx-devel/+archive/ubuntu/release
It contains a build of LyX 2.3.6 for Ubuntu 20.04.
