We need more details to be able to help you.
I suspect that you would have more useful help if you asked on the
lyx-us...@lists.lyx.org list. You could maybe include screenshots and
details on your settings, because at this point I do not know why
Microsoft would have anything to say about programs running on your mac.
And describe precisely what you do.
