Hi all,

I've recently compiled LyX with latest version of GCC and used several useful diagnostic options. Two simpler patches are already committed, but the third one is bigger and worth additional checkup -- it is in attachment.

Besides the problems reported by Pavel (which I can reproduce even in C++17 mode with gcc 5.5), I like the patch.

How confident are we that gcc is right when it says that 'T(foo)' is equivalent to 'foo' when foo is of type 'T'?
