I AM USING LYX 1.1.6 FIX1
When using the foils layout to create slides
I sometimes use combined latex/postscript mode of xfig to create
a slide.
When I do this and update the figure the the text portion of the figure
is not updated. I can sometime force it to be updated by doing clever
things such as load a different figure and then the correct one again,
doing saves, deleting the figure and then doing an "undo" to get the
figure back. But sometimes I just have to quit Lyx. This appears to
be the only way to guarantee that what ever buffer needs to be flushed
is indeed flushed.
This bug is quite a nucance because if you are putting latex text
into a figure in xfig you cannot clearly see what the figure looks
like until you run it through lyx/latex/postscript. If you have to
make many changes to get a figure right the extra cost in quitting
lyx each time can be quite a pain.
I reported on this bug a long time ago (1.1.4 perhaps) and I thought it was fixed.
But it seems to be back.
