Thanks for testing. Now we now that LyX compiles with std regex on MSVC
2019. Probably it would be also useful if somebody test this on previous
MSVC (2017?).

But do we know if it works as expected? One way would be to test Adv-Find.
But there is no test-environment for Windows available ATM (xkbd working only
with X11)

Yes, it should be next important step. But without successful
compilation we cannot even make it :)
I tried to test Adv-Find, but not sure if it works as expected in LyX
2.3: trying to find part of formula "\rho\cdot V" in Math manual (it is
in section 24.8). It cannot be found. Searching for only "\rho" works.
