thank you for your test-version lyx-2.4.0dev-2.
My test-system was as before
openSUSE Leap 15.2, QT5: libQt5Core5-5.12.7-lp152.2.3.x86_64.
No environment-variable change to
export QT_HARFBUZZ=old
was applied.
With LyX 2.4.0.dev the integral sign moved up, but the integral-limits
are not yet Ok.
So thank you all again :-)

Do you know in what form you have the TeX fonts on your system, for
example esint10.ttf (or another extension)? You might have other
versions that LyX cannot handle well.
