On my system this commit causes many latex compiler errors too. The Users Guide is broken too. See my report here: https://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg212011.html I tried to solve it by an update of my TeXLive 2020 w/o success. Thank you for your MWE.
