Since 2019 the varioref package states:
"The suggested way of loading the package these days is by always using
the package option nospace, i.e.,
\usepackage[nospace]{varioref}"
Otherwise references, such as
(\vpageref{...}),
lead to extra spaces at the beginning, such as ( on page ...).
Do you think there should be a change regarding this in 2.4?
