I think this commit broke the compilation of
Astronomy_%26_Astrophysics.lyx. I now get the following:

  ! Package inputenc Error: Keyboard character used is undefined
  (inputenc)                in inputencoding `latin9'.

Is there a fix or should we consider changing the encoding back to auto
for this doc?
