Hello,

I've come into the habit of regularly compiling Lyx from CVS. There have been
constant improvements e.g. of the table editing features, which I liked (and
used) a lot.

However, with the current code (as of today), I had a nasty surprise:

I noticed that the small "tab" and "fig" tags were replaced by "float:table"
and "float:figure". They were all folded in when I opened a document. On
clicking on such a tag, the object was opened as expected, but the label
dialog (for tables) and the figure parameter dialog (for figures) came up
first and had to be clicked away. These dialogs used to come up (in
lyx-1.1.6fix1) only when I clicked the table label tag, or clicked into an
open figure. Having them opening every time is inconvenient (not to say
annoying).

Is there a new way of opening floats? I also noticed that the convenient
"Open all figures/tables" from the edit menu does not work anymore, instead
printing "A truly unknown function" on the terminal...

Hoping that there is some misunderstanding on my part (did I mis-configure?),
or that things will get fixed in the future (but meanwhile sadly going back
to lyx-1.1.6fix1)

P.S. I'm not subscribed to the list (but would still appreciate any hint :-)
