Actually, I completely missed that discussion. I really think it _is_ a file format change, and I do not follow the con arguments. Modules add new styles and flex insets. If we add new styles and flex insets to an existing layout, we enforce a file format change as well. It strikes me illogical to make a difference here between layouts and modules, and I think it is a real pity that we break portability of LyX files here. Having said that, I certainly accept the majority vote. I don't plan to backport this anyway (the module is on the wiki for everybody who wants to use it).
