If none of the above is selected it's the default (document-wide) behaviour,

Oh good I didn't know you get old THAT fast, I surely did NOT add floatflt
to the pextra dialog! I don't know what it is, so how should I have it added?
BTW.: I never used floats (well not purely true I did use them for my thesis
but at that time I wrote it on my Amiga in raw LaTeX :)
