Stephan, thank you.
I use lyx from the command line a lot and have symlinked /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/lyx to /usr/local/bin. Using the symlink it crashes, using the full path it works. Is it reproducible with the symlink? And if so would that be considered a bug? Just for interest sake, I have written 2000 lines of perl code (and Pashua) as part of a workflow in my practice which fires up templates (for example standard prescriptions) modifying variables (such as patient names and the like). While I like to be able to modify manually, most of the time I just like that window to respond to a "LYXCMD:P2:buffer-view:pdf5" after opening. While debugging a small issue with this I noticed the above crash greetings, el On 2018-10-10 22:12 , Stephan Witt wrote: [...] >> Is this reproducible? > > No. You don’t use /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/lyx ??? > > You may try this: > DYLD_PRINT_LIBRARIES=1 lyx -dbg lyxserver > > to see where the plugin lookup is actually searching. > > Stephan > -- Dr. Eberhard W.
