I remember that I had the same problem and some kind developer added an
exception rule so that the auto-postings from my commits are allowed
although I refused to subscribe to lyx-cvs.

(The strange thing, however is that it seems to have worked with your
previous setup: Maybe you subscribed but threw away all messages or you are
using a different mail address now or there is a SSL certificate missing in
your new setup...)
