Thanks for the report, Eran, and thank you for testing 2.3.0rc1. textpos is not an official LyX module. Perhaps you downloaded it from here for the other LyX versions? http://www.spitzmueller.org/tools/lyx/textpos.module Are you sure the textpos.module is downloaded and in the correct folder for LyX 2.3.0rc1 to be able to find it?
