Dear all, Here is an update on the rc1 situation.
The big issue that was fixed recently is being able to convert SVG files if ImageMagick is not available on the system (especially important on Mac). This was important so that users could compile the manuals. So far we are planning to go forward with Qt 5.6.3 on Mac. We've not yet discussed for Windows. Joel and Stephan are trying to figure out what appears to be a Mac-specific bug: https://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/10671 Please let me know if you disagree, but I don't currently consider this issue to be an rc1 blocker, since no one can reproduce it, so we don't know if it affects other Mac users. Still, hopefully we can figure out what's going on. I don't understand whether the following issue is a regression: https://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/10694 I noticed a change of behavior (see comment:9) and could do a bisect if that could indeed help lead to the root issue.
