Concerning the docs, please commit with change tracking enabled. I will have time before 2.3 final to distribute the new info.
Concerning Python 3, I again found an issue to day and I fear there will be more cases. Therefore I request to be allowed to build the installer for 2.3 final using Python 2.x and e.g. 1 or 2 weeks later release an installer that uses Python 3.6. That way users would have a version of LyX 2.3 that works well (tested many hours in real-life) in case the Python 3.6 installer uncovers issues.
