HTML seems to work fine in Gnus in Emacs. The text gets colours and
italics etc.

As I'm 'off' the gmail interface, it's suddenly (again) very noticeable
when people do things like bottom post, use very long lines or HTML with
some weird background colour.

Gnus also nags at me if I try to do things like include long lines or
top post.
