The problem is not with collapsed figures, but in the .eps rendering.
The always print correctly, but I can set them indivdually to not render
in LyX, render in BW, grey scale, or color. I cannot change this
globally, but have to click on each figure (graphic). My concern was
that something similar might happen with insets.
I was just being a worry-wart.
