I thought tht the question was whether the number is on the left when
typesetting. It seemed to me that Uwe mentioned that he did not observe
that in Arabic documents.
I have promised to implement on screen support for leqno and fleqn, but
I have not do so yet. I am waiting to see what is actually necessary for
leqno.
