Only a few ctests are failing on pretest. One set of failures (LuaTeX compilation of EmbeddedObjects manual) is due to a known LuaTeX bug that I think is fixed [1], and will soon be in the TeX Live mirrors. Another set of failures only affect tests marked as UNRELIABLE. I will still investigate those if the failures persist. In summary, I'm not worried we need to change anything on our end.
