The problem of course with 2.8.1 is that it is a lousy C++ compiler,
just a _tiny_ bit better than 2.7.3.

btw. The GCC development have now begun finalizing GCC 3.0 so if you
want to have a good compiler os OS/2 (especially for C++) it in now
time to make sure that the new gcc will work for you. (And someone
from the OS/2 team will have to do the grunt work for that if not
already done)
