valgrind --tool=callgrind reports, without recompiling with -g, the following: libfreetype.so.6.12.3 77.14% libQtGui.so.4.8.7 8.10% ... ~46 million calls to smth in libfreetype.so, in smth like ~5 mins of running LyX.
