1. When editing a display math formula, I tried to delete a row of an
array.  In past versions of LyX I did this with META e k, and the
documentation still says that is what I should do to delete a row of an
array.  Unfortunately, as soon as I hit META e I get the Edit pull-down
menu.  So  I can find no way at all of just removing one row of an array.

2. Outside of math mode, I can delete a region by highlighting the region
and then hitting backspace with the cursor immediately after the
highlighted region.  This does not work in display math mode, although I
can use C-x instead.
