The LyX configuration script does not know that:-) It checks for many converters and adds them to the configuration. Fortunately the message box is only annyoing, it is correctly detected that platex is not usable, and the rest of the configuration looks fine from the log. > I get this warning too and have for the last month or so -- most > reconfigures, but not all. Please report that to miktex, if it installs platex.exe then it should also install the needed dependencies (most likely a dll is missing). Georg
