Well IMO they don't have reduced functionallity, actually IMVO that they
have enhanced functionallity! We would have to put them in sooner or later
and you know that there's always the chance that new code does have some
drawbacks! Also most of the stuff is fixed now there's only 2 features which
are missing, search/replace inside tabulars and global fontchange over more
then 1 cell.

No they are not backported yet, also because there is a lot to backport and
probaly I would have to rewrite it for 1.1.6. I'm still of the opinion that
we should release a 1.1.7 without the new-insets (as soon as I commit my
tabular-scroll fix).

Real computer scientists don't comment their code. The identifiers are
so long they can't afford the disk space.
