If I transform hiw Windows-edited po-file to Unix-style and he
compares what I committed with his version, he wil get huge diffs and
might be confused.
You do not need to transform the file manually.
If I need to edit a file and don't be patient, I get Win-line endings.
So one needs to set up the editor properly.
Of course we could also have a file specific setting (would be a little
bit more work, but definitely doable), but I am not sure it would help
more than it would confuse.
I don't know either. One rule for all files seems to be a good start.
