Scott, while I think of it.
This is the first time, in years of using Lyx, where I have had it fail
to compile for some reason not associated with my lack of knowledge, and
therefore doing something wrong.
If I had more knowledge, I would have been able to follow your
instructions without problems, I suspect, but more importantly---Lyx is
my go to programme for all writing, for every purpose. It is the only
programme I regularly use where I am willing to say that every iteration
is better than the last. Why wouldn't I be happy to do what I can? My
lack of knowledge prevents real involvement, and I am happy to do this
and let those who can get on with other work.
If I sound like I am sucking up to developers... nope. I am merely
saying it as I see it, as I have experienced it.
