Perhaps this isn't the best time - with 2.2 release work going on.
I registered a bug, frames renders too narrow and that makes editing hard.
A frame may be fixed-width and should then constrain the contents.

But it can be set to 1\width (i.e. whatever width the contents has) Then, the frame will not constrain the contents in output. But it does constrain the contents on screen, making editing hard. Especially if there is a table inside the frame, which I use for some forms. I guess this is too late for 2.2, but hope it can be improved someday. There are real use cases for this.
