LyX Developers,

I'm using LyX 2.2b2 on a Retina display. When gridlines are removed from
tables the cell outlines are quite faint (see attached) and can be
difficult to see/differentiate from the background. I'm running my
display at a typical brightness that everything else is comfortable at.
Has anyone else run across this? Does it make sense to darken these
lines since they now appear "thinner" on a Retina display?

This screenshot is from a 27" 5k iMac, 10.11.3.

The problem is that all our line widths and distances are hardcoded for 100dpi currenty. All these things should get some scaling, but it takes time to do it right. I suspect this is 2.3 work.

Could you please open a ticket for that? It might be that there is an easy fix.
