I changed (after discussing the issue with Uwe and establishing that the "design format" for the LyX manuals is PDF (pdflatex) all files lib/doc/*lyx! to have pdf2 as default output. I was made aware that for LFUNS, this must be changed in the script. However, I am not sure, whether LFUNS' default output should be set to pdf2 or not, so I did not take action until now. Günter
