Creating the symlink worked well and I posted the link on the RoadMap.
When announcing beta, do you think it is better to give the
URL of the symlink (which will be updated for beta)?

Or since we are specifically announcing beta should we give the direct
link to the beta? I am thinking the direct link is best in this case but
I am fine either way. I am most interested in using the symlink when I
see someone is experiencing a bug and want to provide a link for them to
test the latest development version if they are interested.
