Creating the symlink worked well and I posted the link on the RoadMap. When announcing beta, do you think it is better to give the URL of the symlink (which will be updated for beta)? ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.2/2.2.0-latest Or since we are specifically announcing beta should we give the direct link to the beta? I am thinking the direct link is best in this case but I am fine either way. I am most interested in using the symlink when I see someone is experiencing a bug and want to provide a link for them to test the latest development version if they are interested. Scott
