From what I understand, we do not post news on our website for an alpha release and we do not send to the announce list. What announcing should I do?
Would it be reasonable to send an email to lyx-user (of course with the disclaimer that they should not use alpha for serious work)? Can I tweet the alpha release? I have collected a list of users interested in testing (mostly for Mac). I will email them privately to let them know about alpha. Any other announcing to do for alpha1? Scott
