Should we add this piece of advice (once confirmed) to Development.lyx? It is still not exactly clear to me what that document is for, but I personally would like guidelines like this in there.
If I am correct, support/regex.h is going to disappear soon with the switch to c++11 and we are all going to rely on the same standard, so this warning is not going to be necessary. Guillaume
