I would like to make the announcement for the alpha release on Monday. >From what I understand in the past it is OK if the announcement comes before binaries are uploaded (please let me know if I am incorrect). As for which version of Qt to use, I propose that each packager decides what is the best choice for the platform. Qt 5.6 Beta has been delayed again until 19th November 2015. I did not bother looking at the reason this time. Thanks, Scott
