Yes. Since the older patch was never applied the new patch replaces it.

I don't like it either, I treat it as an interim solution. I need to
rethink the whole situation of the images and try to come up with
something better overall.
My original work and the updated works are effectively more like
prototyping, and the usual rule is to be prepared to throw the first
one. I'm throwing the first two...
I need to factor some features that I haven't taken care of so far, and
need to make it cleaner, I really need to sit and think about the design
of the images stuff.
