Yes this would be best. I only know how to make .deb files. The branch is 'master' (which is the default branch I believe). Our master branch is what will become 2.2.0. It would be great if you could test. From what I understand, we (well not I but other developers) have committed several fixes to improve LyX for high density display, but I don't think any developers actually have a high density display to test it. Actually, I think maybe we did get some testing on Mac, but it would be great to have feedback from a Linux user. Do note, however, that the master branch is the development branch, so usual warnings apply. That said, I use it for all of my work (yes, I am a daredevil) in order to test. Scott
