Hello Lyx, I just want to report a bug when vertically aligning a cell with multiple rows (when the column has been fixed to a certain width) to the other cells in the row. Attached is an example of this, where table 2 is a table copied from a document where the issue was constantly occurring. Table 1 is a table that was made in the test document, where the issue did not occur.
The solution appeared to be with removing the \selectlanguage command from tools>preferences>language settings>language>command start. I have attached the code that make the two tables in the other attachment. Please note that I using the default language package (babel). Please let me know if I have reported this inappropriately.
