It just needs to be merged and some of the code needs to be refactored. So perhaps it's just a lack of developer time. You might try contacted Rob directly. I'm not sure he follows lyx-devel and he might want to know that there is interest. Also, please let us know if by chance you are willing to help. Best, Scott
