This commit seems ('git bisect run' tells me. I have not confirmed) to
have broken export of the Japanese beamer manual to DVI. I think it
also breaks two other tests:
3632 - export/examples/ja/beamer_pdf (Failed)
3634 - export/examples/ja/beamer_pdf3 (Failed)
